On the edges of our surface world, another world among many undulates into being:
the oceanic realm of whales.
Looking out onto it, dreaming of it,
we find ourselves drawn in again and again
with the gentle rhythm of the tide beckoning us
with the soft foam of its whispers.

in all the surge and lull of its fullness?
